Invitations are being sent out for the upcoming wedding of actress Misaki Ito, 33, and Yoshinori Enomoto, 40, president of pachinko machine manufacturer Kyoraku. According to a source in the pachinko industry, the Nov 24 event is to take place at a chapel near the beach in Hawaii, with about 400 guests.
Entertainment insiders say that Ito had been frustrated with her stagnant acting career, wanting to get married as soon as possible. It appears she perceives the marriage will be invaluable in boosting her "status." She has already requested her fiance how she wants to be adorned for the special day, and it is a known fact that Uno Kanda, considered the couple’s matchmaker, is designing the bride’s wedding and banquet dresses.
The event is attracting much attention in Hawaii as well. A local security company source says that there may be a request to guard VIPs invited to the wedding. “A considerable number of security guards will be required in the style of Hollywood VIPs, which could only mean that someone very special is on the invitation list.”
This may come as no surprise. Kyoraku is known for incorporating entertainers into pachinko themes, the most famous being the version featuring Korean actor Bae Yong Jun in the drama “Winter Sonata.” It has been hinted that Bae may show up as a surprise guest at the wedding, although this has not been confirmed.© Japan Today
