Hawaii wedding extravaganza planned for Misaki Ito

Invitations are being sent out for the upcoming wedding of actress Misaki Ito, 33, and Yoshinori Enomoto, 40, president of pachinko machine manufacturer Kyoraku. According to a source in the pachinko industry, the Nov 24 event is to take place at a chapel near the beach in Hawaii, with about 400 guests.

Entertainment insiders say that Ito had been frustrated with her stagnant acting career, wanting to get married as soon as possible. It appears she perceives the marriage will be invaluable in boosting her "status." She has already requested her fiance how she wants to be adorned for the special day, and it is a known fact that Uno Kanda, considered the couple’s matchmaker, is designing the bride’s wedding and banquet dresses.

The event is attracting much attention in Hawaii as well. A local security company source says that there may be a request to guard VIPs invited to the wedding. “A considerable number of security guards will be required in the style of Hollywood VIPs, which could only mean that someone very special is on the invitation list.”

This may come as no surprise. Kyoraku is known for incorporating entertainers into pachinko themes, the most famous being the version featuring Korean actor Bae Yong Jun in the drama “Winter Sonata.” It has been hinted that Bae may show up as a surprise guest at the wedding, although this has not been confirmed.

Maybe she should better herself and not look for a man to do it. I can't believe this, she's only getting married to improve her career? I feel sorry for the man that's marrying this woman and her crappy mentality towards life.

I am just getting sick and tired of reading about these celebs wasting their money and on their shameful lifestyles.

Right with you Foxie. And this one doesn`t even seem to be ashamed of the fact that she is marrying this guy for "status". Hope he makes up a pre-nup.

In agreement with Foxie and kirakira. It's also sad that women in Japan often feel they have to rush to get married. I don't know how many Japanese girls I have talked to that said they wanted to get married by the time they're 30. Maybe I am a bit of a romantic but I think people should get married if and when they find that special person.

Career? I though you marry pachinko kings for the money. If you want to further your career, you go on a reality show, or pretend that your kid has gone awol in a hot air balloon, or strip off for a 'hair nude' book.

I'm not sure whether I should be impressed by her honesty or repulsed by what she is actually saying.

After reading this article it has certainly lowered Misaki's ratings in my house :( Hopefully Enomoto will still find happiness with his pachinko machines!

Bodyguards for VIPs? please. What for? It's not like most Japanese celebrities are known outside of Japan.

Bodyguards for VIPs!!! I guess one couldn't be a pachinko king without having some really heavy contacts to keep happy monthly(protection money). So i presume the bodyguards for the VIPs will be for the undesirable guests most of us folk only read about in the money laundering articles of the newspapers.

Have they done a Misaki Ito pachinko machine yet?

Hawaii is a really original choice too. Given his pachinko conections, should have chosen N Korea.
