Uno Kanda and husband’s cell phone snapping contest

With celebrity couples, marital spats are distinctive as well.

Uno Kanda wrote in her personal blog on Aug 15 about her quarrel with her husband: “I pray for a peaceful evening to all of you out there. I say this because Darling just broke Uno’s cell phone in half. It is not the first time. He’s done this to me several times before.”

She then headed to her parents’ home, according to her blog update several hours later. Despite her extravagant life – as TV personality, fashion designer and wife of pachinko mogul Takuro Nishimura, with whom she held six wedding parties in and out of Japan – the marriage itself apparently has its ups and downs.

According to a source in the entertainment industry, “Uno snaps her husband’s cell phone in two if he does the same to her. She’s a pretty stubborn woman. I hear that when the couple’s fight escalates, she just walks out the door.”

Omitting details, Uno explains in her blog that the fight started because Nishimura made accusations against her about a phone call. “Uno hates it when people evade responsibility,” she wrote.

Uno’s mother replied with a shrug, “I don’t pay much attention. She gets into a fight and comes here all the time. They’ve already patched things up and she’s with her husband now. It’s the same as usual, and I don’t worry about it.”

So when’s the next time a cell phone will be split into two?

Real mature couple. But I guess its better than him snapping her neck. Maybe they need to have a 7th wedding party to "renew" their love.

Typical childish Japanese behavior. Been married to a Japanese woman twice and twice divorced. Not looking for marriage no. 3, don't think Japanese women (people) EVER mature.

Must be pure hell being married to a woman like that. Even back in her single "talento" days I couldn't stand her.

I don't understand the article though, her husband asks her about a call, and she says she hates it when people evade responsibility ... any connection there? I can't see it.

what happened to her face ?

This is good news for the mobile phone industry.

Exactly.

Kanda Uno, another Japanese talent(less) 'celebrity' I wish would just go away...

Really, this is such a non issue. This article doesn't even have a point. Two rich idiots break each others cellphones.

They should have 6 divorce parties where the parting gift to the guests is a cell phone.

Holy cow! Who snaps a mobile in half when they're angry??? Is she She-Hulk in disguise or something? What ever happened to good old fashioned yelling and plate throwing?

Horrible face there, guess money can't buy everything.

What do you expect from someone named after a kids' card game.

Now does she snap it when they are fighting or after she is checking his email for messages from other women? Man,I don't know how some men here have the gall to suggest that foreign women are nastier than these chicks.

Tmarie, apparently he was questioning her about some suspicious phone call. maybe it's only me, but I completely hate the katakana "darling" (like in "was is your Darling today"), and I hate when Japanese girls talk about themselves using the name (like in "just broke Uno's phone", instead "my phone".

Nishimura is a rich pachinko king and yet gambled and saddled himself with the awful Uno Kanda. What could have caused him to marry her? Celebrity? She is such a self-centered cretin--she never had any room for giving to another in her heart.

That's really cute! I can think of far worse ways to express anger.

Women will adopt the ways of her chosen man. So if one won't 'mature' then one could exdamine the mirror carefully. - Personally I luv 'em. :)

Ah! typos... .

Uno’s mother replied with a shrug, “I don’t pay much attention"

Excellent idea. I'll do the same.

Obviously they should each get the solid bar-sype phones that can't easily be broken in half. Why haven't they tried this yet?

most worthless article i have ever read. ever.

". . . wife of pachinko mogul . . ."

Kind of says all right there, doesn't it? Pretty much the equivalent of being married to a Vegas casino "mogul" in the 1960s.

maybe in the future they will have cell phones that cant be broken. they'll have to find something else to break... each other's hearts?

hearts? you must be joking

most worthless article i have ever read. ever.

...and yet it was worthwhile enough for you to take a few valuable minutes out of your day to read and comment on it.

Both Uno and her husband are idiots! They should have never gotton married in the first place! Let me see, 6 more months tops and they will be officially divorced! No kids, I am sure they must hate each other so much, impossible to have kids.

Brats...both spoiled and the center of the Universe....does anyone care about this immature and toddler behavior ?????

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Never liked Uno. SPoiled Brat! And very dumb. Her husband should suck it up. He knew what he was getting into before they got married. Man... I really hate the way she talks...her voice... just want to slap her silly...

"I hear that when the couple’s fight escalates, she just walks out the door.”

This is actually a very smart thing to do. The article paints this as something bad.
