Is this for real, or is it fine irony?

I will never forget that a young lady that was in my junior high school class made the Rockettes . (about 40 years ago)

I don't know that I'd call the Rockettes "American culture" so much as being an "American icon" similar to the Super Bowl. When all is said and done, they're just a dance troupe.

Four of them Canadians? Three of them sisters from Lacombe? Look that up, people, and realize what that little town's little ladies have done for it. Good on them! And good on the Rockettes for being international in the spirit of the dance. If you've ever seen them live, like I have, you come away in awe at their athleticism and coordination.
