Buddhism does not require the services of chaplains, priests, intermediaries for anyone to attain the way. That is why it is a truly egalitarian religion.

Anyone with faith and a seeking spirit can put the Buddhist teachings into practice. It is accessible to all.

Freedom is served, but conservative whites don't like it that way, for them there is only the freedom to be only like them..

Lol at some random chick with nose piercings, problem glasses, and a Buddhist nametag showing me the way. Give me a break.

When I was in the US military in the 90s to early 2000s there were many Buddhist chaplains. 2 were on the USS Nimitz in 97 where I served as Hull Tech 2nd class. Nothing new.

I agree.

More nonesense stereotyping as usual.

This is very good. But be careful of Chinese infiltration using this route. They already infiltrated much of the Catholic communities in Chinese immigrant societies because those communities could not get enough Catholic priests, which is a worldwide problem. Countries like the US has very lenient visa provisions for people entering claiming status as religious personnel.

Really nice article, it made me appreciate how rarely the busy world of news touches on these intimate matters. I think I’d love to have someone like that to talk to when I have a problem, without any propaganda.

For me it’s not so relevant whether you believe in God or anything else, as to what extent you are improving your spiritual and general health, so it is great to have this as an option. Including for people who do have strong religious beliefs- they too can benefit from this kind of universalism.

Whites are very curious about the big world they live. Arguing over religion is nonsense. Nothing wrong in applying multiple religions teachings into your life, as long as it hints you the path to find inner peace while respecting others. Intolerant religions that teach nothing but to exclude and mentally imprison free human beings you can give it a pass
