Get your car washed by girls in swimsuits for Y10,000

These days it seems all you can find are mechanical car washes scattered across our urban landscape. Sure they might be cheap and fast, but would you trust your beloved vehicle and decal of Calvin and Hobbs peeing on a Ford logo to the cold uncaring hands of a machine?

No, sir! What you need is the warm and gentle touch that only a woman can offer – a woman wearing a swimsuit since washing a car involves lots of water of course. Also, because school swimsuits offer the most durability they would have to wear those at Swimsuit Carwash in Akihabara.

You see, there’s an excuse reason for everything, including the 10,000 yen price tag that comes with the experience.

Swimsuit Carwash in Akihabara runs until Aug 30 in the S3 Warehouse in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Once you enter, a pair of swimsuit-clad women will begin to hose down your car. From there they will start a 20-minute process which includes sponging, high pressure rinses, hand drying, and tire waxing along with a few unnamed “finishing touches”.

During the initial hose-down, customers are allowed to remain in their cars, but when the suds start flying they must exit the vehicle and watch these cleaning mavens at work. Of course, if the highly skilled cleaning abilities of the girls are too much for you to comprehend, you can always take a pleasant walk around the warehouse complex where this car wash is situated.

Also, you’re not allowed to take photographs of the process as it’s highly confidential and can’t fall into the hands of rival washing companies. However, you are able to enjoy a complimentary drink. After all is said and done, the ladies will take a memorial photo with you in front of your freshly cleaned ride and you’ll receive a certificate along with your photo.

If you’d like one of these highly professional soap jobs you must make a reservation through the Swimsuit Carwash in Akihabara website. While you’re doing so, be sure to check out the restrictions. For example, high-end cars like Rolls-Royces and Ferraris will not be accepted. That’s important to know since people willing to drop a C-note on a carwash would probably drive a car like those.

10,000 Yen for a car wash? Sorry, but not even the lure of cute girls in swimsuits would persuade me to part with that sort of cash for a car wash... it's bonkers!

no bikini no money

5 ( +6 / -1 )

How about don't even buy a car, and take a train to the beach or pool.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

I dont like girls that expose there bodies for dumb things like washing cars.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

I'd expect naked for Y10,000.

22 ( +23 / -1 )

Would rather pay my son 1,000 Yen to wash the car and spend the other 9,000 Yen on a meal or something with the family.

The world becomes shallower by the day, modern feminism in action.

10 ( +18 / -7 )

10,000 yen? No thanks. I'll wash my own car. Those girls look like they're still in secondary school.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

topless, then maybe. In swimsuit? go to the beach and just enjoy watching.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

lol @ you blaming feminism for everything, I thought feminists denounced these sorts of things.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

@ falseflagsteve As a feminist, what does this even have to do with feminism? I mean, they're objectifying themselves, that's something. But they're very aware they're doing it. Are you even aware of what feminism is? At all? places dictionary in front of

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

@neonFratction. Very well versed on feminism, the history of it and how it has been propaganda by the elite.

This is what modern feminists call empowered women, like many also do these days with self employed sex workers. There are also many men who call themselves feminists in the way that they enjoy ogling girls like this, force their wives to work and fit it ok to visit sex workers.

Oh yes, i know full well what modern feminism is and exactly where it is heading. This type of thing going on in the 21st century is pathetic, i pity the girls and the sad pervs who part with their family money.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

I always liked the car wash scene in Cool Hand Luke so it's a bit reminiscent of that.

But agree with the above comments... girls too young.

Now, if we had some mature sexy Japanese woman in swimsuits doing this then I would willingly pay 10,000yen.

"... you’ll receive a certificate along with your photo."

...to be treasured for the rest of your life.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Well given that there are so few feminists in Japan and how feminism has so little presence, I can assure you that this kind of thing would have happened with or without feminism in Japan.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

I like the one piece swimsuits.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Ummm... How about no. Especially that "confidentiality" part. Seems a too shady to me.

@ Thomas Anderson

So you have already forgotten the article yesterday about women only carriages, women only seats in libraries etc. This would not get any customers except 40 year old virgins and those with an I.Q under 80 if the elite had not made many men into idiots. A real man would not need to go there and a real man would know what i mean by that. This is so shallow and it is what we deserves, it pushes the modern feminist agenda to the extreme and that agenda is also to turn men into people who cannot be trusted and who see women as sex objects. It has all gone full circle and women are more sex objects than the 50's and society makes them feel ok to do work like this.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

ridiculous waste of money

0 ( +1 / -1 )

I'd expect naked for Y10,000.

You can get naked for a lot less than that in plenty of places.

I expect naked, AND some interior, uh, detailing during the car wash.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Real men wash their own cars, sorry. If sexy ladies want to come wash my car with me, we can talk. Otherwise, no one touches my Skyline but me!

3 ( +6 / -3 )

I wonder how much those girls actually get paid... 1000 yen/hr?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Seemed like normal boring nonsense, until I got to the certificate part, which cracks me up.

You get a certificate? Really? Why? Who would want that? Who would you show it to?

And the bathing suits-- the legless navy blue "bloomers" that are the swimwear uniform of many a high school girl. Not attractive, then I thought, is this actually unattractive on purpose so you can fantasize about the high school girl thing?

Either way, no thanks!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

If the people want to make money, you better let them. Morality and Money don't Mix.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

if the wash the car then come inside to wax the carrot, then i'll pay the 10.000

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I wonder how much they get paid. I hope fairly well.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Like your normal high school fundraiser car wash every year heheheh

1 ( +1 / -0 )

skip the car, just wash the driver

1 ( +1 / -0 )

No deal, but I am sure there are some otaku that would happily fork out 10,000 big ones...

Now if it was like the scene in Dodgeball then maybe,,

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Cute and clean. A better type of soapland.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Does not anyone else like the one piece swimsuits?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

10k yen seems a little steep. I'd think 5k yen would be sufficient.

OTOH, around there, high schools have free (donation) carwashes almost every weekend. I wait for the dance squad or cheerleaders to have my car washed, but my wife prefers the work from the band or football team instead.

Down the corner, a handwash runs about 2k yen, but they vacuum the inside and wash the inside windows too.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Creepy

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Is sex all Japanese think about! get a life! And they wonder why there is a dramatic increase in sex crimes. Especially with government officials! Another note: they do have these kinds of car washes in the states but the money usually goes to a good cause, not for personal gain.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

they call these bikinis??

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

don't you wonder why those swimsuits look so much like sukumizu [school swimsuits]? XD

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I wouldn't want my car getting all hot and bothered under the hood. 10,000 yen for a auto-soap land with no happy ending for my poor old car? :(

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

C-note? First time I've heard that word. Another word for a Yukichi?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

10,000 to give your car a soapy? They should have these car washes in Yoshiwara.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

I can wash my car in my own swimsuit, reward myself of ¥10,000 and splurge on something I really like! Makes it so worth the while!

4 ( +3 / -0 )

Back in the sates you can get this done for like 15.00. Of course they ladies are underaged as it's a high school fundraiser.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

I don't understand this Japanese obsession with little girls in school swimsuits. Its just very disturbing. This pedophilia culture in anime, mange, TV, Movie..etc. are just overwhelming in Japan. If you try to even insinuate this element in US, you will get publicly fried. What is this with you guys? 10k yen just so you can oggle at little girls in swimsuits getting wet to wash your car is beyond all reasons.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

@John Occupythemoon Daly

Real men wash their own cars

So do real women...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

If you can afford to wash away money, have no life, and some kind of swimsuit fetish, go and support the girls like the other suckers that do. I wouldn't bet on them doing all that good of a job in 20 minutes, though of course the focus isn't on the wash, per se. Also, if there's high demand you can guarantee they are tired, hot, and just anxious to be done with it. I say no thanks.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

They tried this in Kansai and has now stopped. The girls said they were raising money for the Tohoku disaster and would clean ones car for 5K and donate all the money. They were a bikini clad group and enjoyed their soapy work. I was last car there one day and they asked for a ride to the local railway station. It was a hot day and I obliged. One sat in the front and chatted very closely to me, while the others sat in the back of the car. I dropped them off at the nearby railway station. I noticed that my jacket on the back seat had been moved and upon inspection that my wallet had gone missing. This happened to me again a few days later and twice at the weekend.

along with a few unnamed “finishing touches”.

Hey, Hey, Heeeeyyyy! Let's stop complaining about the the 10,000 yen price tag until someone explains what these few unnamed "Finishing touches" are. It may be well worth the money. LoL!
