I can't wait to find out how much of this will be true for me.

All very well for rich people, but a lot of us have no option but to work until we die.

If work is better than your family life, then so be it. Although your family may remember you as a bit self-centered.

I have many passions that I can't yet do because of need for time and money.

Retiring is a personal choice.

Don't wait till you retire to enjoy life!

By the time you are 60 or 65 (or whatever the age is when your time comes), your body won't be as strong as it was and the things you can enjoy will be a little more limited. You'll likely start noticing this in your 40's and you'll definitely notice it in your 50s

Learn to live now, have the courage to take a risk or two.

More good memories and less regrets on opportunities not taken, is where you want to be

With all due respect, why should one retire?

With all due respect, why should one work? For the money, obviously. If work was so great they wouldn't have to pay people to do it.

People who can't think of anything else to do have not learned anything about life.

I’m giving up work for my hobby which also makes money for me ^^

To stay home and do what exactly?

My father retired at age 55 and spent his days playing tennis and restoring vintage Jaguar cars. My parents would spend most winters in Italy and southern France with friends. There's a ton of stuff that's more fun than being inside an office, believe it nor not.
