Something tells me this isn't just a matter of religious dummies, but the obesity of 'Merkins.

I thought Adam and Eve were born naked ?
bkawamura
... and in fact according to what I recall, God got pissed off at Eve/Adam for trying to 'hide' ? ? Hmmmmm

This sucks! And where are all the bare midriffs??? There're supposed to be bare midriffs now...

Hahaha, if they have it, who wouldn't want to be ogled?

This is a religious thing with these suits. There are plenty of more normal-ish swimsuits available pretty much anywhere in the US if people want something less skimpy because they are fat or old. Walmart sells them big enough to stuff an entire day care full of children into one suit.

Confusing "needs" and "wants", I reckon.

Ladies may be getting tired of waxing.

I've seen women walk around with nothing on, in the bedroom and at the beach. Crazy? No, they seemed quite sane to me. It was I that experienced other than normal pulse rate, thought processes etc.

Next up, stripey coms for men, waxed 'taches and a straw boater perched at a jaunty angle for those gentlemen strutting their stuff on the beach.

They might as well be wearing wet suits. Looks like the same thing.

I think that it is the fashion industry trying to make woman part with their money. That is why clothe¥ing styles change every 3 months.****

Let's get serious - the largest group of Americans is the Baby Boomers and that group could really use some more modest clothing. Ladies in their sixties, despite having come of age in the sixties (best period of cultural history, no question) are less willing to show off the saggy flesh of today than they were to show off the - well, great flesh of then. As for men - well, I'm not particularly eager to flash my extended belly nor my bandy old man's legs to the world, either.

Some serious health club workouts for a few months would encourage skimpier swimsuit wearing, I warrant. Worked for me.
