No time for cleaning? These hot guys will take care of it for you

Are you too busy or tired to clean your home? I’m sure many of us feel that way often enough; I know I certainly do! Well, all of you ladies out there lamenting the state of cleanliness in your homes, there’s good news for you! How would you like to employ the services of the new “Hot Cleaning Men”, now available through the House Office Cleaning Association?

Yes, if you’re really desperate, you can now have hot-looking, professional cleaning men come to your rescue … for a price, of course.

The House Office Cleaning Association, an organization made up of over 1,000 professional cleaners throughout Japan, recently set up the unique service of “Ike-men Osoji-tai” (literally, “a troop of good-looking cleaning men”).

The “troop” currently consists of 5 male cleaners selected from over 100 candidates who then underwent 5 months of training to become efficient professional cleaners.

So, how much does it cost to have one of these hot cleaning men come and put some shine and sparkle into your home? The price for either a kitchen or bathroom cleaning comes to 29,800 yen. Not exactly cheap, but it may be worth the expense if you consider the effort you have to put in to clean greasy and burnt stove tops or high, hard to reach areas in the bathroom.

You can even request a particular “hottie-cleaner” of your preference if his schedule permits. Hmm… getting your house cleaned and enjoying the sight of a handsome guy hard at work at the same time doesn’t sound too bad, does it? As a matter of fact, it sounds down right nice. Okay, budget permitting, what girl wouldn’t want to use a service like this?

The end of the year is typically a time when the Japanese do a thorough house cleaning, so these Hot Cleaning Men may find themselves quite busy in the coming month. Anyone interested in hiring a hottie cleaner can inquire with the House Office Cleaning Association (details below), but the service is currently available only in Tokyo and surrounding areas. Happy cleaning, or for the fortunate ladies who can afford the service of a Hot Cleaning Man, have fun watching the cleaning, I guess.

I've been a "hot cleaning guy" for my wife for years. I don't think she even knows where I keep the vacuum cleaner. At those prices, maybe I should start giving her a monthly bill? I always sing when I clean, I bet they don't do that too? My wife tells her friends she has a "singing roomba model".

Small and squat, with a habit of getting stuck under the sofa?

(Sorry zichi, couldn't resist...:-))

Holy moley. I'd better start giving myself some more pocket money before my wife starts taking me for granted!

pretty sad if a girl can't clean her own house and needs to pay so much money to have it done when you can do it yourself and spend that money on something worth while. Cleaning is so easy if you do a little at a time, it's no rocket science. As for these guys being called "HOT"?? I think...."NOT" I never understood what girls in Japanese see in these skinny , feminine looking, mop hair guys. I guess the word "HOT" or IKEMEN is looking like a girl or much prettier and feminine than them :P Lucky I can clean and don't need to spend money to come and do something people should know by now how to do themselves.

pathetic...

Wow, something that's ridiculously overpriced that's uniquely Japanese. How novel.

Why? Perhaps they work crazy hours and need someone to clean for them? Kind of like how men drop off their clothes at a dry cleaner when they could easy wash and iron it themselves?

To each his own on type. Not only are you bashing J guys, you're bashing j women. Well done. Gold star for you.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

will they wear a French Maid's outfir for a small extra fee?

Maybe some people think that is something worthwhile. Is it a waste to spend money on anything you could do yourself if you put your mind to it? I take it you never eat out because you know how to cook? Never buy clothes because you know how to sew? Never take stuff to the cleaners because you have a perfectly good washing-machine and iron at home?

Nice, they provided contact info! They can clean my house, shirts off at the door, boys...

Granted there are some who don't know how to clean but there are those who have no time to clean. Whatever the reason, if they wanna pay someone to clean their house, there's nothing wrong with that. And if it's "ike-men", that's better for them, right? If there were services with "hot chics", I'm sure there will be a bunch of guys paying. Would you find that pretty sad too? Or you would't because they're guys?

I never understood what girls in Japanese see in these skinny , feminine looking, mop hair guys.

Maybe it's cuz you're not a Japanese girl.

molly maid for women?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Hot guys??? I might be paying that amount for guys like the recent firemen from Okinawa...

molly maid for women?

Yes. is there an issue with working women doing the same thing that men have been doing for decades? Wow, the sexism on this thread is shocking.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Don't pay people to do things that you can do by yourself. It's waste of money, really...

1 ( +2 / -1 )

30k yen. The fare is curiously similar to what's paid in Japan for hot girls.

So the idea here is that if the woman requests a man will come to her house, they will then be in the house alone together and she'll watch as he goes through various contortions to clean the house.

Hmmm....

tmarie: hey hey, you misunderstand me (and my punctuation/context is off). What I was getting at is: Is this service like Molly Maid but geared towards women? No sexism at all ;)

All I can think of is the role reversal of the innocent young male maid bending over to clean the vase and some onery rich old lady pinching his tushy.

Personally though, if a person can't keep their home at certain level of cleaniness (unless its a freakin' mansion) then they shouldn't be hiring cleaners to do something they can do themselves. I wouldn't date a woman that has housekeeping issues. Its not hard to clean up behind oneself. "You put it there, so pick it up and put it back when you're finished with it." xD

Not really. Molly Maid® is a franchised company that hires-out cleaning crews to homes.

For all we know, they may have male crews, too.

The house cleaning services (with or without ikemen) don't do 'pick it up and put it back'-type cleaning (which isn't really cleaning, just keeping tidy). They do dismantle-and-deep-clean of extractor fans, drains, air-conditioners, the heavy stuff that gets done in a major spring-clean. Not just wiping down surfaces and polishing windows. I wouldn't date a man who expected me to struggle with a task I hated when I can afford to have a professional do it for me, much quicker and better than I could do it myself. The professional wouldn't need to be a pretty boy, though.

Have you ever seen a Japanese house in full kure-no-osoji mode? The storm shutters, mosquito net frames, internal shoji, all get removed and washed down, the paper on the shoji gets replaced, also the netting on the mosquito frames if there's the tiniest hole. Tatami get lifted and aired, the kitchen extractor fan stripped and zapped. It's a major dismantling and reassembly of the house.

House or apartment cleaning, if done well isn't an easy task.We live in a very large house which requires two half days a week to clean it. A seasonal clean, spring, summer, autumn, winter takes about 2-3 full days. I am also a fast worker.

Of course, if a similar service done by cute girls is started somewhere, western audiences get all angry and accuses everyone of misogyny or sexism or even modern soft prostitution.

Of course, if a similar service done by cute girls is started somewhere, western audiences get all angry and accuses everyone of misogyny or sexism or even modern soft prostitution. Indeed. If there is no objection from Western observers or feminists to this phenomenon, men are obviously assumed to be capable of deciding to use their bodies to make money by appealing to a target audience and supplying to a demand. If Westerners or feminists were to object to women doing the same thing, they would be implying that women cannot make such a decision themselves and are being manipulated without their knowledge, that women are too stupid or naive to wilfully manipulate the same demand-opportunity and must instead be the victim of the big bad lecherous men.

Even oh-so-intellectual feminists sometimes fail to realise that by trying to protect the rights of women they act like women have no brains or power.

Why does cleaning become a sexist issue? IF they are men then so be it, if they are women so be it. We can be a SJW on other topics.

Because there is no porn industry, prostitution industry, or sex industry aimed at women, since women don't use men for sex in the way that men use women for sex. Men are given full sexual autonomy, while women are told that they must cover up, act demure, say no, and be the sexual gatekeeper.

This service is nothing but a novelty, while such services for men are ubiquitous. That's why.

Because men still expect women still do most of the housework and childcare, alongside their regular 9 to 5 job, that's why.

Feminists aren't trying to "protect" women. I don't know where you get your ideas about femisim from, but I suggest you some more reading. I can makes recommendations, if you like.

molly maid for women?

There is nothing wrong for men becoming cleaners or women doing men's work. As long as they can deliver the job and the result is good then it is fine. I've been hiring columbiasccleaningservices.com for cleaning services and take note they have women and men in their company who are all equally great workers, so is there something wrong with it? Nah, We don't become SJW for issues that is need to be left behind
