Bad idea. A church, temple or shrine is the last bastion of humanness. Now robots are taking over. Talk about corrupt ideas.

You've got to be joking.

I know most religions take their faithful for granted, but this is just taking the mickey.

"Japanese people don't possess any prejudices against robots. We were brought up on comics where robots are our friends. Westerners think differently."

Anyone who equates machines with humans is prejudiced against humans.

As it happens, I think there is some value in religion, but none in any religion that claims our spirituality should be guided by science-fiction stories in comic books.

Sucker? No mention of money being taken.

Personally I find the idea of a visit there interesting, if only to see what is going on. The Bible and the Qu'ran are just books, sure, but by reading them we might sense something that resonates within us. When computer assisted learning was first touted I was intrigued at the idea of no biased or prejudiced human teacher in the classroom. In the same way this robot could be understood by people unable to go elsewhere.
