Thank you for your lovely sunflower poem, Mr. starpunk. Flowers are nature fireworks. There as now many azaleas in bloom across Japan. Would love to read more.

SUN FLOWERS

Sunflowers

Reaching high into the blue

Every minute, every hour

Faces the east each day anew

Light chasers

Following the mustard disk

Spreading their prominence leaves

Into the air dewy and brisk

Little radars

Getting their spectrum of food

Winged satellites spread the pollen

Suck the nectar, juicy and good

Track the star

How the southern sky it wheels

Photosynthesis in effect

The cycle of afternoon meals

Turn that way

Face the mother in the west

Yet tomorrow will be fresh

But now it's time for a rest

I even wrote a poem about them long ago and a publisher published it in a volume of poetry

Mr. starpunk, I would love to read your poem here today. It would seem appropriate and on topic.

A stunning picture. It looks like a Van Gough.
