Advice on addressing holiday cards
My advice is to skip this nonsense. Do more to stay in touch with people you care about ALL YEAR.

Indeed. Whilst it's nice to receive cards from family and friends, nothing beats regular correspondence or face-to-face time.
Of course, as the years slip away and the distance widens, it's not always possible. Sometimes it's awkward to rejuvenate long dormant friendships. So, this time of year is always a good excuse to get in touch.

@Toasted I think any time of the year is a good excuse to get in touch. Why limit it to only a month and a half?
Jan.7 is actually way better than Dec.7 in any given year to get in touch, it's 11 months earlier. There are only so many months left in anyone's life.

I wouldn't limit it at all. Just saying that for those who haven't, Xmas is a good time to re-establish any broken or forgotten links to family and friends.
That is very true. As we get older, we realize that time is precious.

Dec 23,is not a holiday this year, so do not think you have the day off
