Would much rather sip on my Macallan single malt alone with some quiet music in the background, rather than in the presence of a bunch of virtual drunkards polluting my eye and earspace with their caterwauling and chatter

I can already imagine what this is like. People (especially women) showing pictures of food or other inanimate objects on the video feed while talking with a high pitched voice. The more courageous people will probably show themselves with masks covering 3/4 of their faces.
