The WeLearn Community is an online platform where you can learn Japanese and more, both online and offline.
They will offer lessons for ¥1,100 per month with a one-month free trial. As a promotional campaign, sign-ups are currently free for those who are aged 22 and under. The WeLearn Community offers online lessons every Wednesday from 7 p.m. and offline lessons every Saturday from 2 p.m. with native Japanese speakers, at a cafe in Akihabara, Tokyo.
The lessons are divided into beginner and advanced levels, so that you can choose which lessons you want to take depending on your Japanese level. Lessons will be mainly taught by using presentations. For beginners, English is used to help you understand and get started with Japanese. Even for people who are not confident, the environment is welcoming. For advanced levels, keigo (polite Japanese) or business level Japanese will be taught. For both lessons, you can always ask questions in either English or Japanese.
In addition to the online lessons, every Saturday, Japanese lessons are organized in a cafe. Members of WeLearn Community are treated to free soft drinks at all events. There will be groups for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. Casual conversations are taught and there will be a variety of language related games that can be played. These lessons are for people who are learning Japanese and can travel to Akihabara. People in the cafe are always very friendly, if you’re new to Japan, it is a great place to make new friends too.
For the online side of things, the WeLearn Community platform, you can ask questions about Japanese and download learning materials used in the lessons. Since lessons are currently free for those 22 and younger, this is a great opportunity to learn Japanese. Everyone is welcome to try either the Japanese lesson events in Akihabara or online Japanese lessons.

Below are reviews from a Japanese event in January:
“I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone trying to learn Japanese, even if you have zero experience. It’s a very warm and comfortable environment, filled with laughter, fun conversations, and ice breaker games.” Anton
“Friendly relaxed environment, recommended for first-timers and also casual conversation skills.” Jake
