It will be the first time a black superhero gets his own film.

A black superhero, Black Panther, is set to come to life on the big screen in 2018 with actor Chadwick Boseman

Huh? This clean cut guy can't portray a Black Panther. I think Samuel Jackson would be a better choice.

This would have been the appeal of X-men as mutants could come from all walks of life/ethnicities etc. Making Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson was a great choice for the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D since his acting and presence made Nick Fury much better than the original character.

“It’s about them being a hero.”

This is why there should be a bigger mixture of different people as superheroes. I hope they make Red Wolfs film good enough to watch. The most recent attempt by Disney with "Ant-Man" doesn't look like something I'm going to be watching at movie theaters any time soon. But I am looking forward to the reported "Dr. Strange".

For the record, my honor, the original Red Wolf character first appeared in 1970 & the Amadeus Cho character has been around since 2006.
