Michael Moore to release new film online for free - Excellent - I love Michael Moore - Can't wait to see it!!!

I think Moore has a tendency to sensationalize and bend the facts to their breaking point to get his message across. That said, I'm glad he's around to counterbalance the apathetic masses who can't be bothered questioning whether things are really as they should be in this world.

America needs a lot more Mike Moores. Your media is so concentrated in the hands of so few people and so pro-business that anyone presenting an alternative view is like gold

Right....Because the right wing controls the media...

It's not just a river in Egypt.

I pretty much invented the slacker thing.

But I aint gonna protest.

Mike is down with the cause.

America needs a lot more Mike Moores. Your media is so concentrated in the hands of so few people and so pro-business that anyone presenting an alternative view is like gold. You need people to challenge the status quo and get debates started. Or do you want the next 100 years to be like the last 8?

Proabably giving it away because he knows that people are tired of his proseletysing and won't pay any more.

you get what you pay for....

I didn't see a damn thing funny about Fahrenheit 9/11.

Too bad it was non-fiction. < :-)

Princess, you've got to be kidding. Moore sure ain't the only person in America afraid to say what he thinks!

Sicko and Fahrenheit 9/11 are "documentaries"? I thought they were sick attempts at comedy.

Whitehawk - Good one.

"Slacker Uprising"? Must be a documentary about Obama riding the Chicago political machine to power.

ExPrinceska: I respect Michael Moore because he is not afraid to say what he thinks. It is difficult to do this in an environment as the one in the USA.

Yeah, I hear they're closing down the internet during the presidential election.

Moore believes there is no terrorist threat (p. 95 of "Dude") and that Nixon was the last liberal president (p. 193). In Stupid White Men, he said that Florida was stolen from Gore because felons were barred from voting. In "Bowling" he altered history, misled his viewers and edited the footage and audio to reverse the meaning. He puts statements in all different order. He's not even from Flint. Great Oscar speech by the way. He claims they weren't saying "Booooo". Right, they were saying "booooooobs" cuz he's got 'em. In "un-Fahrenheit 9-11" he uses a Bush speech from 2001 and makes it seem to be occurring in 2003 and 2004. The list goes on and on.

Moore's positive point: brilliant propagandist - creates his false impressions indirectly. Always has the out of: "I never said that."

Who else do you respect? Hitler, Hussein, Li'l Kim, Castro?

I agree its much harder to say what you want in the US then in lets say China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and many others... NOT

Another statement from anti American thinking and not intelligent thinking.

Mr Moore has an opinion and it is very one sided and some people like his stuff. I read Dean Koontz only so that means everyone should believe his stories are true??

Like all books or movies its just a story some are true to a point others are just someones ideas moore seems to fall into the idea area...

Nice to see he's for the good guys but that was expected anyway.

Who cares!!!!!

Hey, Mike Moore has made another comedy. I can watch it free as well.

The guy is crazy, but predictable in his crazyness.

How's he going to make money off of this? Moore is a businessman, not an activist

This film, really isn’t for anybody

maybe that should be the stopping point.

Compulsory voting is unconstitutional.

Really? This topic is addressed in the US Constitution?

I would, however, revert amendments allowing everyone to vote. A voter should be a landlord, or at least a taxpayer with enough understanding of foreign policy and economics.

Confusing, but it sounds like you think some people who know about issues or are property owners are somehow barred from voting in the US. If true, this would be unfair and should be avoided via amending the Constitution. Is that what you are saying?

People on welfare shouldn't be able to vote.

You are just kidding, right? This is like a Borat routine where you say patently absurd things to get comical reactions. Right?

They will vote for more welfare, higher spending, etc. They'd rather take from the rich, who earned everything they had, than go out a try to do some work.

FFS ....... Are you a character who somehow magically escaped from the pages of an Ayn Rand novel?

Moore trying to fit in and be hip

Other than countries with compulsory voting (I think all countries should have this) voter turnout is so low - the in situ government needs to worry when the "slackers" start to moan and grumble.

Wish they would here!
