7-11 Japan’s Italian Pudding is mouthwatering delight

Japanese convenience store pastries are popular and known to be high quality with a wide selection these days. Many consumers purchase these desserts to enjoy high quality sweets from the comfort of your home, or as a treat to themselves.

We would like to introduce you to the special dessert that's been gaining popularity by word of mouth, discovered at 7-11 Japan.

The new dessert is being praised for its mouth-watering texture. While I myself am not a gigantic sweets fan, the dessert caught my eye late one night.

Introducing, 7-11 Japan's Italian Pudding.

But it looks just like a cheese cake…!? The non-orthodox appearance just intrigued me to purchase it. The outer surface was pretty solid unlike traditional pudding, and was shaped like a cake.

As you can see, the walls are caramelized which is totally a mouthwatering look.

Digging in with a spoon…in fact, it seemed way too firm to be called pudding. It was almost like scooping into a cheesecake. By the way, traditional Italian Pudding is a sweet dessert, made of cream, cheese and egg whites.

Now, trying the first bite …. And WOW, This is seriously delectable!

The flavor of the eggs is solid, not too sweet, yet perfectly delicious! The irregular texture is also refreshing, and you just can’t have enough of it.

However, it’s a pretty thick piece, as you can see and the portion is very satisfying. For the author, one piece was more than plenty. It is also good that you will be less likely to over eat!

From the comfort of your home, you can enjoy a legitimate, restaurant grade dessert, Italian Pudding. If you ever see it in a near-by convenience store, give it a try.

How about shipping that over here to California?

In my experience with various Japanese entrées and desserts, many of them are indeed delectable. Green Tea and Ginger Ice Creams come to mind as hard to find delights. Japanese Red Bean, aka Azuki, is a wonderful flavor. Some local Korean coffee and pastry shops make an espresso with azuki flavoring that is out of this world.

Probably just as Italian as Igirisu pan is English.

Yeah, no thanks. Looks grotesque and extremely chemical. The outsides are not caramelized at all, that is just coloring and more chemical, like "rare cheesecake".
