ASUS Japan has announced the release a new Android 7-inch tablet, ASUS MeMO Pad 7 ME171C.
The black (ME171C-BK16) and gold (ME171C-GD16) models went on sale on March 13, and the red model (ME171C-RD16) will be out sometime in late March.
The ASUS MeMO Pad 7 ME171C tablet weighs 280g, and it features their original user interface called ZenUI and Japanese input system, ATOK.
It also has 1GB memory, 16GB eMMC storage, Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, accelerometer, 5MP out-camera, and 2MP in-camera. The adopted CPU is AtomZ2520 which consumes low power and makes the tablet run for up to 11.5 hours.

Terrible price for a tablet that only has 1GB or memory and 16GB of storage. Just bought myself a Lenovo 8" tablet with 2GB/32GB equivalent for the same price here in the UK.

What a terrible "news" (aka commercial)... No word about the Android Version (it is just 4.4.2) or the disappointing Display resolution (600 x 1024)
Anyway, 11.5h during what? If just showing the time, I'm far from impressed. Not even the price is good...
