Tamron will release a new 70-200mm telephoto lens for Canon's digital single-lens reflex cameras. A001 features the new SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 zoom lens which makes it possible for you to take bright photographs in dark places with high speed shooting without blurring. A001 is targeted at a wide range of amateur photographers who wish to take high quality photos.
Nikon, Sony and Pentax are also planning to follow suit.

70-200 f 2.8 zooms have been around for some time. It would have been good if the reviewer had said a little more about it. This seems like a middle range lens. Possibly Tamron either is offering some kind of upgrade or optical compromise.

I agree. Plus, that picture you have illustrating this article is of the Nikon 70-200 pro zoom lens.
This item from the above review:
"which makes it possible for you to take bright photographs in dark places with high speed shooting without blurring"
...is like me reviwing the new Ferrari and saying it:
"has a 6litre engine and 650hp meaning you can go really fast if you press your right foot down hard on the little rectangular pedal that sits on the floor."
Please, I am a pro-photographer. If you want to review pieces of pro gear, for christ's sake get someone capable of writing even half-way decent copy.
