Alpen renews its Tigora shoe line

Alpen is a sporting goods company from Nagoya that developed the Tigora shoe line with the objective of making sports more accessible through an affordable price point without sacrificing quality. The second edition of Alpen's Tigora shoe line, which sold over 3.4 million pairs during its first release, has hit shelves. Tigora shoes initially became known for their durability and grip.

Now, the second edition features a thick layer of 33mm cushioning that suits not just commuting but can also be used for light jogging or exercise. Additionally, the second version makes it much easier to wear the shoes without having to lace them up each time. There’s also a wide version of this shoe for a more relaxed fit. Unlike other brands on the market, perhaps the biggest draw of the Tigora shoe line aside from its durability is its price of ¥2,999 and neutral color arrangement.

The hands free feature is a big draw for me these days. Usually the shoes with that are far too expensive or the design has something less appealing about it. These look rather plain, but that’s not actually a bad thing, and the price is good. Might go check some out.
