Bandai has released a new card game, “Professional Baseball Owners League,” targeted at males in their 20s and 30s. Players enter the number on the card on the official site, and they can then play the baseball game on their PC or mobile phone as that player in the game.
There are 240 kinds of cards featuring 12 teams of 20 players. The picture of the professional baseball player is on the front cover and there is data about each player on the back side.
A set of three cards costs 315 yen.

I think kids will like this more than adults.

I thought that about cute animal characters, manga and anime! Welcome to Japan!

I usually see 20 - 30 year-olds at arcades playing these card/computer hybrid games. Remember, 20's in Japan is the 'teen years in most other countries.

I still think kids want to role model (look-up to and play adults) more than adults do. =Adults will collect the cards, but the kids will "play" the cards.

so are 30s and 40s

Strange, whenever Banadai release a new product it is always on this site.
Bandai have gone downhill lately. The heady days of owning 8% of the Japanese handheld market are well behind and are now selling rubbish like this, very sad
