Baskin Robbins, known simply as Thirty-One in Japan, is no stranger to turning their ice cream expertise to collaborations with beloved pop culture institutions. Earlier this year they brought out the sweetest take on Pokemon ice cream, including original flavors and ice cream cakes.

Now the movie moment of the winter, the new "Star Wars" film, is also getting an icy and delicious cake tribute featuring some of the most recognizable characters from the iconic series, called the Galaxy Palette.

Each of the six individual slices is decorated with an adorable depiction of a character and aesthetically suitable flourishes of whipped cream.

The cake also comes with lightsaber design picks which you can use to decorate the cake as you please.

The characters, which have received a cute makeover and been portrayed on a chocolate plate, each sit on a different flavored slice of ice cream cake.

Like the best New Year present ever for lovers of science fiction and ice cream, the Galaxy Palette will land in Japanese Baskin Robbins branches on New Year's Day, but it will only be sold in limited numbers, costing 3,600 yen.
