Canned cocktail with a sucker punch of lip-puckering lemon: Strong Zero Giga Lemon

Suntory's -196˚C Strong Zero brand of canned cocktails won the Guinness World Record in the category of best-selling spirit-based RTD (ready-to-drink) brand with estimated sales of 257,987,900 liters in 2019.

Delivering the freshness of fruits with zero sugar and fizzy refreshment, these chu-hi drinks are made with Suntory's "-196˚C Strong Zero method" production process which instantaneously freezes fruits in liquid nitrogen at -196˚C, pulverizes them and soak them in alcohol. This results in a refreshing, carbonated drink that is packed with the fruit flavor.

With their Double Lemon flavor, -196˚C Strong Zero created an extra lemon version of their popular standard lemon flavor. This was already quite lemony. But now it looks like Suntory has crated an even stronger lemon drink. If you're the kind of lemon-head who enjoyed sour candies as a kid, the kind of lemon-lover who could handle the most acidulated foods and sweets, this may finally be the answer to your prayers. Move over Double, here comes Giga Lemon!

According to their press release, Suntory's -196˚C Strong Zero Giga Lemon tastes just like "biting into a whole lemon," and has 1.7 times the lemon strength of their Double Lemon flavor.

It comes in two sizes, 350 ml (141 yen) and 500 ml (191 yen).

As always, Suntory's -196˚C Strong Zero contains 9% alcohol, zero sugar and zero purines.

Suntory's -196˚C Strong Zero Giga Lemon will be available in stores nationwide from November 24th, 2020.

World record holder or whatever, the low quality of the alcohol in them makes it mean "Refuse To Drink" for me.
