Here is a different kind of backpack from Thanko Rare Mono Shop.
This backpack can carry a pet inside and has a transparent astronaut-like helmet cover from which your pet can peek out. The backpack has holes on the side and uses material that keeps the inside well ventilated. There is also a small chain that can keep your dog from slipping out.
Comes in black and white, and costs 5,980 yen.

Cruel treatment for any pet. This would be like transporting people around in coffins with a peek hole and ventilation. For anyone with claustrophobia it would be unthinkable. Not a smart product.
