Chill beer can and serve as draft beer in 4 minutes

By Yoriko Takahashi

Takara Tomy Arts is going to release a beer server called Premium Beer Server Gokurei ("gokurei" means "super cold") on May 22.

With Premium Beer Server Gokurei, you can chill a can of beer to the best temperature to drink and then serve the beer within it like draft beer through a tap. To make the beer cold, put ice and water in the server and turn it on. 4 minutes later, the 350ml canned beer becomes 4-6℃ and will be kept cold until it is emptied. In addition, by adding salt to the ice and water, you are able to cool it to below zero ℃.

Also, since Japanese people care a lot about creamy foam, Takara Tomy Arts installed a high-speed rotating motor to make silky smooth foam.

The power is fed from the batteries (4 size AA batteries) so that you can bring the Premium Beer Server Gokurei with you for your outdoor activities and use it without worrying about a power source.

Price: ¥7,800

As to why so many Japanese like a fat thick head is so beyond me. Some of that head is so high, from a distance you'd think the person is drinking a soft cream.

this would be nice for outdoors beer drinking, but you still have to bring the ice. which will make me stick with the can beer and cold bag. It is a cool gift, and good for making an outing more lively

No thanks, I can chill a beer and pour it with ZERO head myself!

cool it to below zero ℃. ??

Why? The only reason to chill your beverage that cold is so that you can't taste the swill. Save your ice, salt, machine, and electricity money and buy a better beer.
