"Chuhai with fewer calories": because nothing beats thin drunk chicks.

I came up with that slogan, so pay me a nickel each time you use it. And thinking about it, who is the target purchaser? I assume young women will be consuming them, but is this something a guy buys for his girlfriend? So are they marketing to guys? If so, then the slogan above works, but here is another one, just in case we want to market the other way.

"Chuhai with fewer calories": your boyfriend will look better, and so will you.

So if this 3% Chuhai is meant for women, can I consider the 8% lemon Chuhai I drink manly?

Best diet: don't drink this junk. Zero calories!

I switched to strong chu-his over beers a few years ago (I know that sucks), same food and workout routine....but if anyone wants to cut off 10-20 pounds.... I recommend it. This stuff above is for the ladies.

I go for the hyoketsu STRONG (8%) It gives you twice the zap for half the calories! And at 118 yen a can it is easy on the pocket. Such is the woeful life of a middle aged salaryman

Can they please put some frigging alcohol in these things? 2% or whatever is not going to do it for me.

That doesn't seem very low calorie.

People people. Isn't there a point where you just say... give me some kool aid and a bottle of Ever-clear? I mean, 9% lemonade is getting up into the Mad Dog 30 30 / malt liquor circle of hell, isn't it?

I know people who put down about a can a night of this stuff, and it... well... it... oh never mind. Oh I'll say it. No matter how much you sugar it up and paint it pink, it's poison. Making it go down easier is not really a GOOD thing, is it?

Cans like this that say '50% Off' always make me wonder...50% off what? And there never seems to be an original one. I wish the 50% off referred to the price!!

It's flavoured Budweiser, the American favourite. Put it back in the horse, with the Bud, where it belongs.

Fewer calories or not, chuhai smells of chuhai. Before meeting a lady, never drink chuhai, if you want to smell nicely. The biggest mistake of men is to smell of chuhai. yuk

Can you really smell Chu-Hai on breath, LoveUSA? It seems odorless. What should I drink before meeting a lady? I guess wine doesn't smell?

"The biggest mistake of men is to smell of chuhai."

Love, you must have neve smelled the breath of a man who's been drinking sake.

Chuhai breath vs. beer breath?

What should I drink before meeting a lady?

Coffee/cocoa maybe is ok. Or something sweet with caramel and cinnamon.

Chuhai breath vs. beer breath?

Should it be alchohol?

"@ Klein2 : Olde English 800 with a straw- Those were the days... ;^) "

Yeah. Fond memories. Ugh. Old English? I guess I did the same with Mickey's, but that was high school. I vaguely remember parties with 40 liter garbage cans filled with kool aid and everclear that usually ended badly. Why oh why would I think that anyone would learn from my mistakes? This is alcohol after all. It's all fun until somebody gets hurt.

And when I said a can a night, I mean every night, like clockwork. I don't know, do a lot of people do that?

As a curmudgeon, I guess it seems insidious. Chu hi fortified lemonade is like giving cigarettes to six year olds and saying, SMOKE UP~! Alcohol is a carcinogen, and its aldehyde metabolites are teratogens too, and we know that. There is so much more, but if it is cheap and fun, people will do it.

do not forget it does not work if you mix it with chuhai/
