Coca Cola’s New Year’s bottle design

Coca Cola is releasing a limited-time-only New Year’s themed bottle design on Monday.  The new package uses the festive colors of red, white and gold to depict plum blossoms, or ume, making the design look like that of a kimono. There is also a small illustration of a boar, next year’s animal on the Chinese zodiac.

Love Coke's Japanese designs. My Mom is a coke fanatic, so whenever I can find something interesting, I purchase it and send it to her. Filial piety.

The Coca-Cola logo, the Coca-Cola bottle, and the first Coca-Cola can were all designed by the French-American genius, Raymond Loewy.
