I will go for the 100 yen shop model, it's a very strange world you live in, nemoflow, where all 'human needs' must resemble so closely, your own.

...sort of more on point; the whole pedometer thing eludes me (as I am not a fatty).

The only time a human would need to buy something like this, is if they are being paid for the amount of distance walked.

Just walk.

Bicycle computers, I can understand, as serious road riders track some major distance, and are actually throwing themselves into aerobic exercise.
