Thanko has released a cordless speaker for smartphones. What you have to do before starting to play music with this speaker is put your smartphone on the front part of the speaker.
The speaker works by picking up the sound coming through the smartphone's backside speaker and amplifying it. Unlike regular wireless speakers, there is no need to use Bluetooth or Wi-fi functions. You can use the speaker by connecting it to your smartphone with a USB cord as well.
It is compatible not only with smartphones but also other devices such as iPhone, iPad mini, iPod, and MP3 players.

Maybe if it was 1,924 yen I would consider it. 2,480 yen seems a little too high for something like that. I do like the cradle. I need something like that for facetime.
