Looks just like the Sanyo Xacti line, which makes sense as the companies have merged; mine, which I bought several years ago, recently had some screen trouble: I dropped it off at their service center, they fixed it free of charge, and they even sent it back to me so I didn't have to go pick it up. Also, the 'pistol style' grip makes shooting even over long periods easy on the arms. Great camera, great company.

Laguna - Does your model have a female screw on the bottom to attach a tripod? My model came before this one came out, so it doesn't have and that makes it kind of an inconvenience when you make your own videos for YouTube (which I have been doing with it for five years). But the Sanyo cameras (now Panasonic) are excellent! I love mine.

Looks like Panasonic has been raiding the Sanyo technology bin.
