Doughnuts for Halloween

I hate to say it, but this sure is a great way to gain a lot of weight during Halloween.

Drooling and snuffling I carried my first ever Krispy Kreme box home on the train from Tokyo. Bit of an anti-climax. The warm one you get offered in the shop is delicious, but the others - meh. Disappointing.

Krispy Kreme in Japan is a classic example of rebranding garbage as diamonds.

Are the lines still long at the Shinjuku store? Used to be crazy long for several months after it opened. Apparently there's still a considerable wait at the newer Nagoya and Osaka branches.

60-100 yen more than a Mister Donut donut, depending on what day you go there.

@genjuro - No long waits anymore. About the same wait as going to McDonalds when I go to my regular stores in Shinjuku and Tachikawa.

never had the krispy thingies. would luv to try some of the Halloween treats.

Gosh, I could go for a Krispy right now with a cold glass of milk! Besides, the donuts look cool, but it is a tad more expensive than in the states. I wish and hope one day within the next 20 years, I hope they will bring KK to Kyushu. We need some good donuts here. Wonder why they take so long to expand!
