Panasonic will release earphones targeting women consumers. The product name is Moon Jewel, and was designed by a team of women in their 20s and 30s. This is the first time ever for an audiovisual product planned by an all-woman crew to hit the market.
The earphones were modeled according to the average woman consumer to ensure a snug and secure fit for all. They come in 12 colors and are adorned with cubic zirconia, a diamond simulant, to satisfy even the most style-conscious.
Tomomi Azuma, one of the members of the project team, explained, “We were able to attain comfort without sacrificing style.” The market price is anticipated to be around 2,500 yen, and the monthly production to be 30,000. On sale July 7.© Japan Today
