Office equipment and gadget provider King Jim is releasing two new pencil cases called “Pacali,” which is Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a container opening with lightness and ease. The cases are easy to open.

The horizontal type case is divided into two sections that are held together with a magnet, and the vertical type case also stands on its own by flipping the back side. The regular sizes can hold up to eight pencils while the wide size can hold up to fourteen.

The horizontal type comes in colors orange, yellow, green, blue, and black, and costs 1300 yen. The vertical type comes in yellow, blue, grey, and black, and costs 1,750 yen.

Pacali will be released on Aug 30.
