Egg-citing

Take a trip back to adolescence with Tamagoras, small plastic eggs that “hatch” into a fridge-full of colorful mini animals. These cute little guys — the name combines the word tamago with the suffix “saurus” — were a big hit in 1984, and now Bandai is bringing them back with all new characters and designs. Newcomers to the collection include lion, bear and squirrel figurines that sometimes come with funny and inspirational messages like “I Have No Fear,” “What’s Up?” and our favorite, “Get Back To Job.” (Metropolis)
