Fan automatically adjusts air volume

Toshiba Home Techno is selling a new fan which automatically adjusts the air volume. The product is installed with a sensor that detects temperature and humidity. The air volume increases as the room temperature and humidity rises, and decreases when the environment is cooler and drier. The digital panel displays the room temperature and humidity for user-friendliness.

A fan that auto-adjusts the air volume according to temperature and humidity is rare in the industry. The user can select from three operation modes including standard and low.

The price is open but expected to be about 15,000 yen.

Fan automatically adjusts air volume

I'm pretty sure this fan doesn't "adjust air volume".

"Fan automatically adjusts its speed" is what you're looking for.

It would be on full power all day in my stupid coolbiz office, and it would still be too hot.

SiouxChef is correct, and I sympathize with Red7Racing. Blowing the hot, humid air around doesn't quite cut it.

I haven't found any details on this fan, but air volume of propeller fans can be changed by adjusting the blades. Looking forward to more info.

Or, just buy a Dyson's Air Multiplier which has no blades to be adjusted.

air volume is actually right in this instance... When you are talking about A/C condenser and other mechanical contraptions with a fan on them, the amount of air moved by the fan is measured in CFM (cubic foot per minute) or cubic meters a second etc, and these figures are referred to as "air volume". No it does not increase the amount of air in the atmosphere.

This fan costs 15,000yen! How about getting 4-8 fans for the same price and adjusting (on and off) them yourself?

Air volume refers to how much air is blown per second. They kind of assumed you'd know that.
