Floresta’s Sanrio organic doughnut collection continues with fishy tribute to Hangyodon

By grape Japan

Floresta, a Japanese doughnut chain, are famous for their adorable creations. They’re known as the "nature" doughnut company as all their treats are handmade and organic, with no artificial flavours or colours. They even sometimes collaborate with Sanrio to bring out some super cute doughnuts featuring popular characters.

At this point, so many Sanrio characters have featured, such as Hello KittyPompompurinCinnamoroll, and Tuxedo Sam, that we’re now getting to some of the less well known characters.

So it’s about time then, that fans of Hangyodon can get their hands on some doughnuts starring their favorite fish character.

The first phase of the collaboration will include two ring doughnuts with Hangyodon’s face in the middle (520 yen each). There’s two flavors to choose from, black sesame or strawberry.

The marine theme continues cutely as the ring doughnuts are decorated to look like inflatable swimming rings. These will be available from now until June 14.

Then for the second part of the campaign, another face from the Hangyodon Universe will be making an appearance. Sayuri the Squid and Hangyodon have been recreated as doughnut balls for a cute and colorful doughnut ball cup called Goro Goro Cup.

The Hangyodon Goro Goro Cup will be released on June 15 and swim off the menu on 25th.

Sanrio enthusiasts can find these sweet Hangyodon tributes at selected branches of Floresta, or order them through the online store.
