Ginger & honey combo great for colds !

If indeed there actually is ginger honey and lemon IN it, not just artifical flavours. I think it says fruit juice 1% on the tin - not enough to make any difference to your cold! And the Vitamin C advertised on so many drinks here makes me laugh - when you look at the ingredients it is only 30mg or so.

Sorry to be so cynical!

Just make your own. It's better for you. I agree, it's great marketing but I am unconvinced. Why can't they make a REAL ginger/honey mix? Or am I missing something here?

You can mix honey, lemon juice and ginger at home easily. Grated ginger ( oroshi shouga ) mixes easily with the honey & lemon. Yer all welcome.

If you have a cold, leave out the ginger and add a splash or two of Scotch. It might not cure your cold, but you won't care as much.

I NEVER drink alcohol to cure colds. That's what boozers tell you to do but it dehydrates you and your throat goes sore.

you clean up now, thank you

Nothing will cure your cold except time. Things you buy over the counter mask the symptoms so you feel better but they don't cure you. The same with anything the doctor gives you. There is no cure for the common cold so just take what makes you feel better and if this drink does then imbibe. Though I do agree with the idea that making it for yourself is just as easy and probably better all around.

Sounds pretty good.
