Häagen-Dazs is no stranger to Matcha. Through many years' experience in the Japanese market, the ice cream giant has learned how to incorporate the prized Japanese tea into ice cream bars, cups, and even creating a limited-time salon for Matcha ice cream desserts.
This year, Häagen-Dazs is bringing matcha into its popular Crispy Sandwich lineup, offering an ode to the green gold in a dessert called "Matcha Ensemble." True to the "ensemble" concept, it's a harmonious symphony of four different matcha sensations.
1: Matcha ice cream with a sophisticated sweetness
They've created the perfect balance of umami-laden matcha and the rich taste of milk which only Häagen-Dazs can achieve.
2: Soft and bittersweet matcha cookie pieces
The ice cream is studded with matcha cookie pieces with a soft texture and bittersweet taste which doesn't clash with the matcha, and rather enhances it.
3: Matcha wafer
The matcha ice cream and cookie filling is sandwiched between crispy wafers imbued with the deep flavor and aroma of matcha.
4: Matcha coating
The first sensation you bite into, the coating is made with a bittersweet matcha extract and also has a crispy texture.

RareReason
How come every 'new' flavour of anything is green tea.
Tastes like someone took all the end bits of vegetables you normally cut off and throw away and boiled them up with a handful of hay.
