The American version of the Casio G-Shock, I take it. And a Timex at that. I'd be surprised it these were popular in Japan.

My Iron Man watch is probably one of the most useful things I have ever owned. It conveniently tells the time, right on my wrist! And it's pretty much everything-proof. Also, it lets me know how many hours have passed waiting at the gym for the 5-deep line of old men to finish 10 bench presses.

If I wear these, can I fly and blast tanks with rays from my hands? And if not, why not? For 13,650, I expect value, and it DOES say Ironman.

Is it licensed to DKSH by Stark Industries?

The Timex Ironman watch series has been around for almost two and a half decades. The name comes from the "Ironman" tri-athlons. From Wiki:

In 1986, Timex got the rights to the Ironman name and developed the Ironman Triathlon watch based on the 1984 watch.

That price seems steep. The last Ironman I purchased (last year) was only $55.00

I raced in Ironman events as a sports hobby for over 10 years and competed around the world, the Japanese would turn up at a race with all the best & latest bike & race gear.....if it has Ironman on the label, they bought it. The good Ironman watces now have wireless heart rate & bike computer with data download to computer.
