@Jack, Na, sorry, that you'll have to do! Nothing new here though, there are already such glass kettles. I've had one for years called TKE10 W Pure Black, fast boiling, induction connection with auto switch off. Very nice, and cheaper! http://item.rakuten.co.jp/drinkshop/423-0436-270/

Over 100 USD$$ for this?? Screw it! I will keep my cheap old one that I paid about only 1,000 yen a long, long time ago at Nittori!
