A Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut is made from at least 50 ingredients, mostly artificial food additives that increase your risk of cancer, heart disease, allergies, and digestive disorders. These additives are in much of our processed foods. Food additives are used to prolong shelf life and preserve flavor and color. Krispy Kreme pride themselves on delivering a consistent product. They rely on these artificial food additives so they can process their bulk flour mix at a central location and ship nationwide to individual franchises for final uniform baking. It's hard to measure the long-term effects of years of consuming these additives and they are always tested as individual additives never in combination, how it is found in most of our foods. In addition to increased cancer risk and cardiovascular disease, food additives are associated with other health conditions that can include irritability, restlessness, poor sleep, mood swings, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, difficulty concentrating or debilitating fatique, speech delay, learning difficulties eczema, skin rashes, swelling, reflux colic, stomach aches, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, headache, migraine, frequent colds, flu, bronchitus, joint pain, arthritis and heart palpitation. It goes on forever my friend and sadly there are so many other ingredients that they don't have to list because they are the industry standard. Now doesn't that make you sick? I hope this information empowers you to make a better choice.

It's worth a try. Who knows, maybe you might like it. Seems to be too much soft cream though. Like always, they go for looks rather than taste. KK is way overrated anyways IMHO, there are so many better doughnut shops better than this, and half the price too.

Yes, KansaiTruth.

People having a hard time getting food in a disaster area. Adversing for food short of nutritional value. It does leave a bad taste in one's mouth.

Does anybody know if some or all of the profits from this Krispy Kreme delight will go to the earthquake/tsunami survivors up in the Tohoku area? Otherwise, it seems really inappropriate timing to advertise something like this...

Soft ice cream on top of a donut? Give me a break!

I'll not buy anything from Krispy Kreme again after I paid 200 yen for a strawberry glazed donut that tasted like shortening.
