It’s no secret that Japanese apartments take space efficiency a little too seriously. Most studio apartments in major cities like Tokyo, Nagoya or Osaka have just enough space for a bed and not much else. While stacking appliances on top of each other or investing in furniture with extra storage, seems to do the trick, for cleaning supplies that take up space like vacuums, there are only so many places you can store them.

The Multi-Stick Cleaner by Life on Products hit the market on December 1. This sleek, cordless vacuum cleaner was designed to not only clean but also to be displayed. Using a wood grain design, it’s just as fashionable as it is functional. It comes with five attachments and comes with a string hook for you to easily hang it up. To charge the device, it takes up to four to five hours and can run continuously for 40 minutes.

Exactly what I need. My apartment is smallish, crammed with books, CDs, and records. Keeping it clean is a chore and my vacuum is large. I'd like one of these.
