Do they break every couple of months for half the year?

MrDog:Good one. A bit of a mystery how a company concludes a particular celebrity is marketable, in this case a watch. What particular demographic are they targeting? Hardcore football fan? Yes. Manchester United fan? Yes. Michael Owen fan? Yes. So how many of those will spend $650? He will probably be gone from football in a few years, so maybe watch collectors are also targeted.

Costly and unreliable - is that the connection?

I,ve seen him endorse some suits over here, but now watches, why are they obseesed with michael owen in Japan ... I don,t think he,s won any trophies with liverpool during his days there and was certainly benched most of his time with Man U this previous season, no major international honors either....Hopefully the watch performs better than the guy than signed it........

Oh I must get one, since it is endorsed by Michael Owen, the world famous watch designer.

I don't particularly like Michael Owen, but he has won a few titles in his career. He won the UEFA cup, European Super Cup & FA Cup with Liverpool, and he won the Ballon d'Or (European footballer of the year) too. Not a bad haul. But he is finished now.

doesn't look that good. Its overpriced and i would rather keep my casio watch. bonzai!

Obviously has potential, comes prematurely then breaks down over and over until it disappears from everyone's radar. It's probably a bad investment option for all owners.

Football player, surely?
Wakarimasen
They like him here because he is short and useless.
