Starbucks Japan sucks bigtime ! Especially the store in the Yaesu shopping center in Tokyo station ! The staff there actually had the gall to ask me not to eat an orange on their premises while I drink my coffee !!! Whatta buncha jerks ! I informed them that in starbucks all over the world I am welcome to eat an orange, read a book, or listen to the music of my choice... so why is Starbucks Japan so stingy ??? No response ! I have yet to return folks... I vote with my feet ! A-holes !

Some of my New Age friends are into frappucino enemas.
I think this is a revoltin' as well as useless alternative medicine health treatment.
If anyone's tried this Zakuro Peach one, please post. At least I'll pass your experience it on to my buds.
Thank you,

It's within an establishments rights to ask that you do not bring in outside food. As for Starbucks Japan not being good there's a few things on the menu that are better than in the US for some reason. However I have to say I like Choco Cro better.

Westurn,
Hey, nothing new. Back in the U.S., everytime I go to a movie theater, they check my bag if to see if I'm carrying in some outside food or drink. I can see why too: They want you to buy their food and drinks, which ends up being way too overpriced. Here, I don't get anyone looking in my bag.

I gotta agree. Never been a fan of franchise shops. Starbucks, Tully's, etc. Seems like Seattle thinks they know coffee, but they don't. Went to one in Santa Monica and the service sucked big time. Give me the old fashioned Mom-and-Pop anytime. Glad to have found one in Kamakura the other day. Nice, quiet, place to read a book. Coffee the way I like. They even had Earl Grey tea, Darjeeling, and a variety of herbal and floral teas, if that's your pleasure.
