New Studio Ghibli design Japanese fans coming just in time for summer

Summer will soon be here. It will be time for going to firework festivals, wearing light kimono, eating shaved ice, and trying to beat the heat. But your yukata won’t be complete without Japan’s ultimate summer accessory. A folding fan to keep you cool and stylish.

These new designs from Donguri Republic, the official Studio Ghibli merchandise store are an elegant way to bring your love of the anime powerhouse’s characters into your styling.

There’s two "My Neighbour Totoro" fans. One showing Totoro himself indulging in a little firework watching, one of Japan’s symbols of summer.

The other has a fresher, daytime vibe showing Totoro and friends among some nature inspired patterns.

The "Kiki’s Delivery Service" design is a flowery pop of color, showing the feline character Jiji hanging out around some lemons for some reason.

Studio Ghibli’s resident face of dark and mysterious, No-face from "Spirited Away" brings the image of warm festival nights to the fan with floating lanterns.

There’s lots of extra detailing too, such as the patterns on the wooden portion of the fan and the dangling charm at the bottom.
