Sony is going to release the high-spec 8.3X optical zoom Cybershot camera RX10 on Nov 15. It features a 1-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor (20.2 million effective pixels) and 24-200mm (eq.) f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, which covers taking many different scenes of telephoto and close-up photos. Fourteen elements in 11 groups including 7 aspheric elements maintain high-resolutions.
It also includes the same BIONZ X image processor as the "α7" and "α7R" which improves autofocus and reduces noise. It has up to ISO 12800 sensitivity and it's compatible with Wi-Fi and NFC functions. The newly developed OLED Tru-Finder featuring organic EL was used for the finder giving it a high level of visibility. It has a tiltable 3.0 inch display with 12.29 million dots.

Great. If the price was even remotely reasonable. For that much money (and the weight) you might as well either get an entry-ish DSLR or a mirrorless, even if you are a beginner. The 1" sensor is very nice I'll admit, and the combination of the big-ish sensor with long zoom could be tempting for some people, but those people don't want to spend more than maybe 50,000.
