Audio-technica will release the sport inner-ear headphone ATH-CKP200iS (for smartphones) and ATH-CKP200i (for iPhone) on Oct 18. They are waterproof so that you can wash them in water.
The oval rubber ring clip makes it comfortable to wear while you enjoy sports. A 8.5mm dynamic driver unit is built-in.
Both models have a remote control with a microphone built-in. You can control music or volume or phone conversations with the remote control.

For me, the problem with such earphones with "oval rubber ring clip" as well as those heavy headphones is that they cause outer ear pain if I wear them for more than one hour.

Might give these a go because headphones don't survive my Bear Grylls-style exercise pursuits for long. The price is also not so high as to cause distress if I discover they're no good.

I have narrow ear holes so these inner ear jobbies never fit. The block out so much of the ambient sound that I am not sure that I would want to wear them anyway. Any recommendations for non-inner ear sport headphones (that means a hook like this and a shorter lead. Sometimes they are "sport look" and don't come with a shorter lead.
