Elecom is selling a soft leather cover for the iPads. The cover can be rotated 360 degrees while it is still attached and the iPad can either be placed horizontally or vertically.
The slim leather cover protects the body of the iPad from scratches and dust and the protective film that protects the LCD screen even when in use comes as a set. The inside of the cover is sandwiched with a polycarbonate core that can absorb shock and has a flannelled design to gently wrap the iPad.
It has a flap to cover the LCD screen when not in use, like while carrying It comes with a safety strap to attach the flap to the belt and its design eliminates the worry of accidental opening.
The cover features a stand function which allows use of iPad by fitting it to the recessed portion of the flap which in turn can be adjusted in 2 steps. Since 360-degree rotation of the cover is possible while it is still attached to the iPad, it can be set to any angle and a desired orientation either vertical or horizontal, matching the scenario. The iPad can be operated just by opening the flap and it is possible to connect cables and use camera without removing the cover.

Ranger Miffy, my guess if you and I need to know the price, then they do not want our service?? They must want the deeper pocket kind of crowd that can do with out asking about the price??

Think I've seen this in the restaurant I'm working in: parents using the ipad as entertainment tool to keep the noisy toddlers quiet while they enjoy the food...and as stated above, setting it to the perfect angle depending whether the little angle insists on sitting on a "normal" chair or a high-chair is crucial. Even the sound comes out nice and clean, from the ipad at least. A few short years ago it used to be some color pencils and a piece of paper but apparently for a lot of oya-baka this isn't enough anymore.Well I'm sure the opticians will applaud this trend.
