Trouble sleeping? Try Wanjari

If you’re having trouble sleeping this summer, it’s probably time to switch up your bedding. In Japan, there are seasonal bedding options that help wick moisture away and keep you cool. From icy pillow pads to paper-thin gauze-like pajamas, there are tons of options to make sure you get a good night’s sleep despite the heat.

Bamboo wholesaler and manufacturer Taketora developed Wanjari, a pillow made of bamboo charcoal granules to help you get a good night’s sleep. Using 10 liters of bamboo charcoal burned at high temperatures, it claims to eliminate odors and absorb excess moisture while you sleep. You can also move the granules around to shape them to your liking. The founder of Wanjari claims that hearing the soft rustling of the charcoal granules once helps lull you to sleep after you hear it (hence the name).

Get it while stocks last on the official Rakuten online store for ¥9,900.
