Great way to kill the monotony of a decompression hang.

Now you can watch Sanma instead of the fish.

Yep, nothing I'd rather be doing underwater than watching the tube.

What a pointless invention.

Probably more splashproof than waterproof. Can't imagine very good reception down in the depths, and the case would probably implode at 2.5m.....

Panasonic trying to sell more TVs via waterproof features. Just like waterproof cameras,is about time for waterproof TVs. Next we need waterproof panasonic PC laptops.

Maybe hotels will buy these for rock stars to throw into the swimming pool.

Just what I need in the tub.

rajakumar, Panasonic "thoughbook" series is already extremely resistant to all kinds of spills. dont be surprised if that's waterproof too by next year.

what i think, is that they are not following the convergence rule. With miniaturization, they should put phone features in there, and run a basic OS and there's a lot more you can do with it. If the price for this thing is too high, people will just buy mini-notes instead.

rajakumar- ever hear of the toughbook? I'm fairly certain those are waterproof to a certain extent.

I am going to get one for rainy days. I think it would be a better deal though if it came with a windshield wiper.

there is a lady with a panasonic like that (older model) who watches TV shows on the train every morning (same train same carriage everyday) I prefer the PSP for watching vids on the train myself, you can do so many other things with it.

as if anyone can get a reception in the bathtub unless your bathroom window (if you have one) happens to be facing Tokyo tower or Landmark.

great invention but paying much more money for that function only would be worthy when we can stay under the water too long (20 mins is good enough for skin). In my opinion, it would be no use for us as common people (I mean not as an under-sea scientist or something else related with water etc)

So now we can watch Japanese moron comedians in the pool? Just what we need.

Next time I'm scuba diving off Okinawa, I'll remember to pack one of these beasts.

I hear Dances with Wolves is even better at 150 m....

I'd prefer to watch it on a T.V. that was 150m away from my eyes
